Elisabeth was one of my biggest role models when I was a child. She is my next door neighbor and I would see her as I came home from the Bund Deutscher Mädel meetings and activities. While I never got to know her too well, since she was in college and probably a little annoyed by a young 11 year old following her around and inviting her to play games or have tea parties, she was always very sweet to me. Check out her blog here.
Anna and I met in the Bund Deutscher Mädel when we were 13 years old. We began attending the same summer camps and we’ve been inseparable ever since. She and I are both Nazi officers proudly serving this country. She lives two blocks away from me in the lovely city of Munich and will serve as my maid of honor. Alfie, although he cannot read this, is one of my best friends and biggest supporters. He is a beautiful German Shepard puppy Walter and I adopted two months before the war. Even though it was hard to balance work and a dog at the same time, the benefits of having Alfie are significant. If I'm ever feeling down from a long day of work I know that as soon as I come home, Alfie will be there smiling and ready to play. I love this little fur ball.
